Artist biography

LÁRA is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from County Donegal, Ireland. Lara began singing and competing in local music competitions at age 7. In the past 12 years, she has performed in countless musicals and shows, and after learning to play the guitar at age 12, she began performing at concerts, weddings, festivals, and pubs.

LÁRA is a member of the vocalist trio, Evergreen, within which she competed in the singing competition The Voice UK under the guidance of Will.I.Am.

LÁRA’s music is clearly influenced by folk-country pop music, and she accredits Fleetwood Mac, First Aid Kit, and LÉON as her muses.

Her main goal is to complete her BMus degree at Ulster University, and continue to compose and perform music as a career. She recently recorded her debut EP.
