Paul Booth Quintet Gig at Magy's Farm

Magy's Farm were delighted to have Paul Booth visit us for a hastily organized gig on 8 December, to coincide with a night he had off from his Alfie Boe / Michael Ball tour. As expected, he was on fire!

The band played music from Paul’s previous albums and a few new tunes to an enthusiastic full house. Paul’s pedigree is rare indeed as saxophonist and keyboardist with both the Eagles and Steve Winwood, but he is also a wonderful composer.

On the night, Paul played sax and the quintet rose to the occasion in an electrifying evening of jazz of the highest calibre as friends, old and new, united in a night of triumph for the music Post-bop and contemporary jazz brought the audience to its feet.
