TRU Performs at Magy's Farm

TRU's performance marked a departure from the recent glut of jazz gigs at the Farm, with a male vocal group who played contemporary folk music blending with traditional Irish and Scotch-Gaelic songs.

Vocals were layered with sublime harmonies and the stories of the songs were told in advance so the audience could connect with the messages and the narrative from the musicians, who were clearly on a journey of their own. This was an exquisite performance from the band who have been shortlisted for the Northern Ireland Music prize.
