About the session
Magy's Farm were delighted to host Lisa Dawson for a special St. Patrick’s Night eve performance, where she presented a set of music which explored the musical culture of Northern Ireland. Lisa performed her own interpretations of songs such as ‘My Lagan Love’, ‘Carrickfergus’ and ‘The Belle of Belfast City’.
An intimate performance, not quite Carnegie Hall, New York or the Royal Albert Hall London where Lisa sang along with celebrated choirs, but it was a mature recital, beautifully intertwined with stories about the songs and arrangements. We are proud to support this future star.
A 35-minute support slot featured Magy’s Farm Collective starlet, Cara Quinn, who releases her debut single ‘Pretty Promises’ on Friday 15th April.
