About the session

This was simply wonderful! Sarah Moule graced our presence at the farm with an authorative performance that seemed to squeeze the last drop of energy out of the music as she altered the melody lines to match her own personalised delivery with a gorgeously judged vibrato that softened the endings and magnified the very meaning of the songs.

Simon Wallace, Sarah’s charming partner was magnificent on piano and so responsible as the creator of the backdrop for the magic to happen. Wallace provided wonderful harmonic tapestries laid down by an experienced master, who’s co-writing relationship with the great Fran Landesman seemed to be an influence on his musical relationship as accompanist to the vocal melody, and the way he powerfully sculpted the arrangements to the benefit of the singer.

Sarah and Simon were spellbinding…what a night!
